How will the tests be marked?
Previously, SATs tests were marked using levels (such as 2a, 3b, 4c). This was discontinued with the introduction of the new curriculum tests in 2016. They are now marked using a scaled scoring system to standardise the results. Scaled scores of 100 or above show that a pupil has met the expected standard. 80 is the lowest score and 120 is the highest score.
